Frank Vincent Zappa, ameriški skladatelj, kitarist, pevec in satirik, * 21. december 1940, Baltimore, Maryland, ZDA, † 4. december 1993, Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, Kalifornija, ZDA.
Zappovo delo je stilno zelo raznoliko in se giblje med rockom, avantgardo 20. stoletja, žanrom jazz fusion in sodobno resno glasbo. Bil je tudi zelo odmevna osebnost v medijih, predvsem zaradi svojega humorja, satirike, absurda, visokega kakovostnega nivoja glasbe, rock opere, itd.
