Henry VII of England

Henry the VII or Henry Tudor (January 28, 1457 – April 21, 1509) was king of England from 1495 to 1509, he united England, which had been divided in a civil war between the families of Lancaster and York. He was the founder of the Tudor dynasty. He became king by defeating King Richard III 1485.
Henry was married to Elizabeth of York. Henry was a member of the House or family of Lancaster, and by this marriage the war between these two families, the Wars of the Roses, was ended. He and Elizabeth had four children,Arthur, Mary, Jane, and Henry.
After Henry VII died in 1509, his son became king as Henry VIII.
