Manuel María Ponce Brousset

Manuel María Ponce Brousset (*Lima, Peru, April 5, 1874 - † Lima, July 18, 1966. He briefly occupied the Presidency of Peru in august of 1930.
After Luis Miguel Sánchez Cerro rose in arms against Augusto B. Leguía and overthrew his eleven-year dictatorship in Arequipa, Ponce assumed the 2-day interim presidency until Sánchez Cerro arrived in Lima and was designated as Leguía's successor.
