Antonio Gutiérrez de la Fuente

Antonio Gutiérrez de la Fuente was a Peruvian politician which also served in the Peruvian military. He was the President of Peru for a brief time between June and September of 1829.
He was born in the city of Huantajaya, Tarapacá, Peru (now Chile), in 1796. He activley participated in the movement to overthrow the government of José de La Mar being named vice president and taking the position of the President of the Republic until the General Agustín Gamarra took possession of the job. He died in Tarapacá in 1878.
