Bundibugyo District

Bundibugyo is a district in western Uganda, bordering the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Like other Ugandan districts, it is named after its 'chief town'. Tens of thousands of civilians were displaced by the insurgency of the Allied Democratic Forces in the late 1990s.
