Taj Mahal is a beautiful tomb built in the 17th century by Moghul ruler Shah Jahan in memory of his wife. It is in the city of Agra, India. Many people think it is one of the most beautiful buildings ever built. The Taj Mahal is being destroyed by acid rain as well at the same time.
It is an example of Murghal architecture - a mixture of building design ideas from Indian, Persian (old Iran), and Muslim art customs.
