blink-182 (formerly known as blink) is a popular pop-punk band. The band formed in 1992 in San Diego, California as a trio: Tom DeLonge (vocals/guitars), Mark Hoppus (bass) and Scott Raynor (drums).
The band gained popularity with their second album Dude Ranch, including "Dammit" and "Josie" which both proved radio hits. Raynor left the band afterwards and has been replaced by current drummer Travis Barker. As of November 2005, blink-182 released 5 full albums so far (not counting the 1993 demo Buddha).

They have also made a Greatest Hits album in 2005. That album contained two songs that had not been released in the U.S. before, Not Now and Another Girl Another Planet.
blink-182 has been on indefinite hiatus since early 2005, although the group has never officially disbanded according to frontman Tom DeLonge.
