Londinii 7 Februarii annum 1477/1478 spectabili familia Iohanni et Agne Moro natus. Adulescens (circa 1489-1491) Archiepiscopo Cantuariensi, Ioanni scilicet Morton qui Cancellarii Regni sustinebat partes, inservivit. Oxonii (circa 1491-1493) dein ac Londinii (circa 1493-1495, post 1496-circa 1501) iuridiciali disciplinae operam dedit studia sua in ampliorem humani cultus provinciam proferendo, speciatim in theologiam inque aetatis classicae litteras. Palaeograecum sermonem edidicit atque commercium habuit ac necessitudinem cum praeclaris artium renascentium fautoribus, in quibus Erasmus Desiderius Roterodamus (ab anno 1499) recensetur.
