First we have to translate the namespaces. It the text we use to define the kind of a page. Here is my propositions, please correct it ;o)
- Name: "Special"
- Desc: Special pages, are those ones used to get information, statistics and do maintenance.
- Expl: Special:Preferences
- Trns: "特別"
- Expl: 特別:オプション
- Name: ""
- Desc: Here is the namespace for articles. We don't change it. I think it's use by the research engine, by default it research only on this kind of pages.
- Expl: Ancien Egypt
- Trns: ""
- Expl: 古代エジプト
- Name: "Talk"
- Desc: An article talk page. Is use to talk about an article. For exemple if we disagre the author of an article, we can ask for explication in the talk page append to the article.

- Trns: "会話"
- Expl: 会話:古代エジプト
- Name: "User"
- Desc: Users pageS
- Expl: User:Hijiri
- Trns: "ユーザ"

Do you think you have better to translate Namespace (user, talk...) ?
Do you need any explanation of what a text to translate is using for ?
Do you know japanese people who can help in setting-up the japanese Wikipedia ?
Do you think it is a good idea to create for each artile a redirection from the furigana and romanji form ? For exemple, フランス is the main article, and ふらんす and France are redirection to the フランス article. What do you think about that ?

Hello Aoineko-san.
1) Many Japanese Wiki-clone system, such like YukiWiki, RWiki etc., don't try to translate namespaces. So I think it is not essential to do it. But I guess there is another merit to translate them. For example, if there were "Wikipedia for Japanese Kids", namespaces in hiragana characters are very good advantege to be much friendly.
2) Yes, please explain what a text to translate is using for.
3) What skills are required to set up Japanese Wikipedia?
4) I think your redirection idea is the best solution. Or, we need only フランス page and no redirection, because we never write ふらんす in hiragana. But someone may search ふらんす in hiragana, 仏蘭西, 佛蘭西 or 法蘭西 in kanji. So I think it's better to deploy a full-text Japanese search engine like the "Namazu+Kakasi" [1].
Anyway, I'll talk over these issues with my friends. I hope they have other ideas.

1) Personaly I think we have better to translate at least USER & TALK. But I'm not japanese so I let you choose ;o)
2) About what term to translate do you need explaination ?
3) We first need to translate all text to japanese. And we have to make some decision of how the japanese Wikipedia will work. Any skills are welcome ! English (or French) speaker are good for me :o)
4) This version of search engine is already proficient to do full-text searching. It classify founded articles in "found in title" and "found in text". So we don't need redirection (ex: ふらんす) if we wrote all possible spelling in the article body.

用はないんですが、こんにちは。兄弟を議すというわけじゃないですが 西方さんの大斎は時期ではなくて斎の種類のようですよ。 なんかローマのパパがなにかあると「だいさい」を呼びかけると人からの伝え聞ですが。
