Bionicle: the Game is an action-adventure video game released in 2003. The game is based on the movie Bionicle: Mask of Light. Initially, the game was supposed to make each Toa, Toa Nuva, and the Toa of Light playable, but due to deadlines, much of the game was dropped. However you can play as all the characters in the Game Boy Advance version.

[edit] Levels
The game consists of eight levels, within each the player must accomplish a series of tasks as they travel through various regions of Mata Nui. Some tasks include: Collecting lightstones, rescuing Matoran, defeating bosses, etc.
[edit] Level One: Toa Tahu
You play as Toa Tahu and you must rescue several Matoran while working your way through Ta-Wahi to eventually defeat a squad of six Bohrok.
[edit] Level Two: Toa Kopaka
Kopaka must rescue Matoran as he slides down Mount Ihu on his shield. Once he reaches Ko-Koro, he must chase a Tahnok. However, a giant snowball chases him! Eventually Kopaka disables the Bohrok by zapping it with his mask of shielding then shooting it with elemental blasts. Note: Press 'Special' to look in first-person view.
[edit] Level Three: Toa Nuva Gali
Gali Nuva traverses all over Ga-Wahi in search of missing Matoran. Some Matoran are trapped in mysterious Dark Energy Cages, which can only be dissipated by a powerful Nuva blast. To open, recharge until you get your energy full. Quickly press 'Special'. She ends up fighting all six Bohrok-Kal solo.
[edit] Level Four: Toa Nuva Pohatu
Pohatu Nuva is trapped with a Matoran in a mine tunnel and must activate six door panels to escape.
[edit] Level Five: Toa Nuva Onua
Onua Nuva must track down the Rahkshi Lerahk who has ended up in his domain. After passing through Onu-Wahi, he must destroy the shield that Lerahk hides behind. To do so, push rocks into at least 5/6 of Lerahk's energy valves. This will stop the flow of energy and drop a pipe (the Lehrak runs on 6 pipes).
[edit] Level Six: Toa Nuva Lewa
Lewa Nuva must find the Rahkshi that is hiding in the swamps, but first he must find Matoran to activate the Suva so he can get there. Once his Matoran activate his Suva, he can use his glider wings to fly across Le-Wahi.
[edit] Level Seven: Toa Nuva Tahu
Tahu Nuva must chase down a Rahkshi that has stolen the Mask of Light by surfing on an enormous river of lava!
[edit] Level Eight: Toa Takanuva
Takanuva must fight Makuta, defeating many Rahi that spawn near him. Eventually, the battle chamber falls to pieces and they must battle in free fall!
