Richard McCourt

Richard McCourt (born 12 August 1976 in Sheffield, England) is a television presenter and radio presenter best known as one half of children's television duo Dick and Dom. He is also the brother of television presenter James McCourt.

Also a stage actor, Richard McCourt has appeared in many pantomimes, including:
- Aladdin at The Empire Theatre in Sunderland (1999/2000)
- Cinderella at the Derngate Theatre, Northampton (2000-2001)
- Aladdin at Bath Theatre Royal (2001/2002)
- Dick Whittington at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield (2002/2003)

Best known for co-presenting Dick and Dom in da Bungalow with Dominic Wood whom he met after joining CBBC. His other television credits include:
- worked on a hospital's television station,
- a live children's programme for Meadowhall Television,
- in-vision links presenter for CBBC,
- BBC's HOT - Holidays on two,
- CITV's on Safari,
- Celebrate the Sound of Music
- More recently he was a contestant on BBC's Hard Spell and The Weakest Link quizzes but failed to win either.

In his early teens, McCourt was the victim of playground bullies and is involved in the Radio 1 anti-bullying campaign. Other notable charity and public service work includes:
