--I'd like to request an article on the Permanent Account Number (PAN) system in India which is currently in use for salaried professionals earning more than Indian Rupees 1.5 lakhs per annum. The card is issued by the Income Tax Dept for filing of tax returns and it means a whole lot of trouble for the person who earns more than the said amount and does not have a PAN card, as it's called.
