Summary

English: Flag of Israel. Shows a "Magen David" or Shield of David between two stripes. The Shield is a traditional Jewish symbol. The lines represent the Jewish Prayer Shawl or w:Talit. The colour blue is chosen to represent the sea, the sky and ultimately God.
