The Statue of Liberty (Liberty Uniting the World) or "Lady Liberty" is a large statue in New York Harbor. It was built in 1886 and given as a gift from France. A smaller copy is near Seine river in Paris. Gustave Eiffel, the designer of the Eiffel Tower, helped design it.
