Saint Denis Basilica is a famous burial place for the Kings of France. It is in Saint Denis, which is near Paris, France.
The Basilica is named after Saint Denis. Saint Denis is the patron saint of France. He was also the first Bishop of Paris.
The Basilica is the first building which is built in the Gothic architecture style. Abbot Sugar (1081 - 1155) began building the basilica in 1136. It was not completed until the 13th century.
