Neutral is a word that comes from Latin ne-uter. The latin word means neither (of two).
The word neutrality can have different meanings too:
- In the context of politics, neutral meansthat the person or country does not side with one of the parties, in the case of a conflict. Examples for neutral countries are Switzerland and Austria.
- On Wikipedia neutral (as in Neutral Point Of View) means than when people write articles, those articles may be controversial. For the disputed points, both views of the story should be given.
