Från förra hälften av 100-talet har vi de s.k. "apostoliska fädernas" skrifter, främst Ignatius brev och Hermas "Herde". Viktiga är ock De tolv apostlarnas lära, de äldsta apokryfiska evangelierna, och apostlagärningarna.
It is surprising that the (canonical) Acts of the Apostles [apostlagärningerna] are mentioned together with non-canonical writings. Possibly confusion with another non-canonical book.
Quite another matter is the question of the value of Acts as a historical source. (It is remarkable that what the Gospels report about Jesus is in a number of cases repeated in Acts - but now about other people: Stephen, Peter, or Paul!)

- The entire article is taken from Nordisk Familjebok, and probably needs some serious proof reading. Some mistakes may have been made in transforming the antiquated language of NF.
