I am a doctor who lives in California in the United States. My specialty is Emergency Medicine, but I also volunteer in a clinic in San Francisco. This clinic, the Lyon-Martin Clinic helps people who can't get good and respectful medical care from other doctors. We have many LGBT patients. Especially lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people.
I think this is important because I am a gay and transgender person too!
This is me in the French Quarter of New Orleans, LA.
This is me with Phyllis Lyon and Del Martin at a benefit for the Lyon-Martin Clinic. They were the first lesbian or gay couple who were married in San Francisco Feb 12, 2004.
