In medicine, the neck is the part of the body that connects the head to the trunk.
The neck contains the cervical spine (the bones in your neck,) many important blood vessels, the trachea (what you breathe through,) the larynx (where your voice comes from,) the esophagus, lymph nodes, muscles, nerves, and connective tissue, and skin.
