New Mexico is a state in the United States of America. Its capital is Santa Fe. Its biggest city is Albuquerque. New Mexico is ranked 5th in area. It is ranked 36th in population which in 2004 was around 1,903,289. Known as the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico's motto is Crescit Eundo (It Grows As It Goes). 70% of New Mexico's population are homeowners.
