Overleg:Macedonisch

I am sorry that I don't know Nederlands, but I can understand one thing and I have a comment about this: “Het wordt gesproken door ongeveer twee miljoen mensen in .... en Zuidwest-Bulgarije (Pirin-Macedonië)”. How you understood that the so called Macedonian language (for Bulgrian and a part of Foreighner scientists this is an other (regional) version of Bulgarian language) is spoken in Pirin Macedonia? Please if you have some source, point it.

From my side I’ll point most authoritative source – the data from National Statistic Institute of Bulgaria - http://www.nsi.bg/SiteMap_e/SiteMap.htm. In Blagoevgrad district, i.e. Pirin Macedonia there was 341 173 population in 2001. From them 89.725% speak Bulgarian, 5,809 – Turkish language, 2,705 – Gypsies language. Only 2921 peoples (0,856%) speak other language. If we accept that every of them speak Macedonian (this is impossible) do you think that it is deserve to mention in Wikipedia that MK is spoken in geographical region Pirin Macedonia which is situated in Bulgaria? If you accept this maybe you have to mention that this language is widespread in Germany, in France, even in Netherlans.

There is an option to accept your initial assertion – if we agree that Macedonian is the other version of Bulgarian, but then you have to point that Macedonian is spoken in hole Bulgaria with name “Bulgarian” :) Like me, there are many people in Bulgaria (maybe over 1 million) with origin from different parts of geographical region of Macedonia (Vardar = Republic of Macedonia, Aegean in present Greece, Pirin in BG, Prespa region in Albania), but their ethnic identity is Bulgarian and they define their language as “Bulgarian”.An exeption is disparaging. Macedonians speak very nice from our point of view, but the linguists before 1950 told that Macedonian slavs speak Bulgarian. Today there are different opinions but everybody recognizes closeness of the languages in BG and MK. Before 1944 there are not Literary Macedonian language, maybe this is only language in the world with own “birthday”.

I think Oscar may have reverted your edit because it looked like vandalism. Comparing the contents of the article with that of the english wikipedia, I think you are probably right. Flyingbird 10 mrt 2005 21:02 (CET)
