Santhenar is at war and the quest goes on for the Mirror of Aachan. Tensor, leader of the Aachim, desperately flees with the Mirror into the wilderness, travelling with the chronicler Llian. Only Karan can locate them, but it will be a perilous journey: Tensor wants her dead.
