The Simpsons Season 1 DVD.

The first season of The Simpsons aired between December 1989 and May 1990. The show runners were Matt Groening, James L. Brooks, and Sam Simon. The season was released on DVD September 25, 2001. It is also the only season not to have a Treehouse of Horror episode.

Bart cheats on an I.Q. test and is sent to a school for gifted children.

Homer is fired from the nuclear power plant after causing an accident, but then goes on to put up safety signs all around Springfield, and eventually goes up against the nuclear power plant.

4 - 104	January 28	7G04	There's No Disgrace Like Home
Annoyed at his family's unruly behavior at a work picnic, Homer takes them to Dr. Marvin Monroe's family therapy center.

5 - 105	February 4	7G05	Bart the General
Bart falls foul of a school bully, Nelson Muntz, and enlists Homer and Grandpa's help.

Lisa feels stifled and becomes depressed, leading her to befriend fellow saxophone player Bleeding Gums Murphy.

Homer buys a second hand RV after Flanders gets one, but ends up getting the family lost in the woods where Homer is mistaken for Bigfoot. Albert Brooks guest stars

Bart falls in with the wrong crowd and cuts the head off the statue of town founder Jebediah Springfield.

Marge falls for a charmer she meets at the bowling alley. Albert Brooks guest stars

10 - 110	March 25	7G10	Homer's Night Out
Bart takes a photo of his father dancing with a stripper at a stag night, landing Homer in trouble with Marge.

11 - 111	April 15	7G13	The Crepes of Wrath
Bart is sent to France as an exchange student, where his hosts treat him as a slave. Meanwhile an Albanian student taking his place suspiciously shows interest in Homer's work at the power plant.

Krusty the Clown is arrested for holding up the Kwik-E-Mart, but Bart refuses to believe his biggest hero could have done it. Kelsey Grammer guest stars

While Marge and Homer are out for a romantic night, and leave the kids with a babysitter. Bart and Lisa are terrified after they see their babysitter on the TV show America's Most Armed and Dangerous. Penny Marshall guest stars
