Tåsinge

Tåsinge is a Danish island south of Funen. The island covers an area of 70 km² and has 6111 inhabitants.
Tåsinge was once called Thorsinge or Thorsenge, in Danish meaning Thor's Bed or Thors meadow. "Inge" could also mean young, or youngling.
Tåsinge is famous for its castle, Valdemars Slot and was also the setting for the death of Elvira Madigan and Sixten Sparre.
