Romeno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 35 km north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,315 and an area of 9.1 km2.[1]
The municipality of Romeno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Malgolo and Salter.
Romeno borders the following municipalities: Sarnonico, Cavareno, Dambel, Amblar, Don, Sanzeno, and Coredo.
