Pomarolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 15 km southwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,264 and an area of 9.3 km2.[1]
The municipality of Pomarolo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Chiusole and Savignano.
Pomarolo borders the following municipalities: Cimone, Aldeno, Villa Lagarina, Nomi, Volano, and Rovereto.
