Oshakan

Oshakan (Armenian: Օշական) is a village in Armenia, 8 kilometers southwest from Ashtarak.
This town is well known to historians and pilgrims of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Saint Mesrop Mashtots, the creator of the Armenian alphabet, is buried here.
