Mystic Fate
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Mystic Fate" is the two-part season finale of the American children's television series Power Rangers: Mystic Force. As with the rest of Power Rangers: Mystic Force, "Mystic Fate" utilizes footage from Mahou Sentai Magiranger. It was first broadcast on Jetix in the United Kingdom on 2006-11-04, and will later be broadcast in the United States on 2006-11-13. This marked the return of Machiko Soga on Power Rangers. She played the Mystic Mother (the reformed and promoted Rita Repulsa, and the American version of Magiel).
Leanbow trains his son, Nick, to become a better warrior so that he will be ready to fight the Master when the time comes. The Master returns with a vengeance, choosing Itassis to go to the surface world to fight the Rangers. In the process, Necrolai pleads with Itassis to spare her daughter, Leelee, and Itassis agrees, but Sculpin objects it. However, as Itassis is fighting the Rangers, they convince her that she is only being used, and so she retreats. For her unwillingness to fight, Sculpin and Black Lance slay her.
Because of Phineas being hired, the customers of Rock Porium have stopped coming because they fear him. Toby is then reluctantly forced to fire Phineas.
Meanwhile, the Master is disappointed in the Ten Terrors and so begins to take matters into his own hands. He possesses Nick and turns him into a new Koragg and sends him on a rampage through the forest, destroying villages. He then fights his father Leanbow. Both the Knight Wolf and the Wolf Warrior fight in Rootcore and cause serious damage, but just as Nick is gaining the upperhand, Leanbow lays down his sword and is able to free Nick from the Master's grip using his good concious.
Next, the Master goes to the Magical Realm and attacks the Mystic Mother and the Snow Prince. The Snow Prince reaches Rootcore in time to warn the Rangers. Leanbow and Daggeron go to the Magical Realm to see if the Mystic Mother survived but are attacked by The Master and have their magic devoured and are defeated. Black Lance is then chosen to attack the surface world, fighting the Manticore Megazord while Udonna fights Sculpin. Sculpin attempts to blast the Rangers, but Jenji floats in front of the blast and is destroyed, and Sculpin drags Udonna into the Underworld, leaving the Rangers to fight Black Lance.
[edit] Part II
Nick refuses to give up and fights Black Lance as the Red Dragon Fire Ranger, weakening him enough for him and the other Rangers to destroy him. Just as they begin celebrating, the Master descends from the sky and throws the corpses of Daggeron and Leanbow at the Rangers' feet, causing them grief. Next, the Master devours time and sends himself and the Rangers into the dark future Earth was to become if it was ruled by him. The Rangers fight him in the Manticore Megazord, but the Master breaks their weapon and then defeats them by consuming their magic and courage.
Weakened and defeated, the Rangers retreat into a cave, but just as Nick is about to call it quits, Madison and the other Rangers convince Nick not to give up. The Master comes to finish them off, but Nick fights him, using both his Magi Staff and Lion Staff, breaking off his mask and then stabbing him, causing him to regurgitate time and return all of them to the present at the cost of their magic. There, the Rangers are joined by Clare and the Snow Prince, who reveal that the Mystic Mother survived and granted Clare the powers of a full sorceress. They are then joined by Udonna, Itassis and Necrolai, who inform the Master that Necrolai defected to the side of good and revived Itassis and saved Udonna while Itassis fought and destroyed Sculpin when she was empowered by her inner courage. Leelee then arrives and convinces her mother to use her powers to revive Leanbow, Daggeron and Jenji and she agrees, causing herself to be transformed into a human in the process.
Although the Rangers no longer have any magic, they are joined by both the people of Briarwood and the magical creatures of the forest (lead by Toby and Phineas respectively). They inform them that they talked to their own peoples and convinced them to come together as one to destroy the true evil (the Master). Because of the people's faith, the Rangers' magical powers are restored and they face the Master. They send a large and powerful rainbow of magic, which the Master attempts to swallow up, but because their courage and magic is infinite, the magic caused the Master to burst and be destroyed.
After the final battle, the people of Briarwood and the magical creatures of the forest join together to begin rebuilding their lives. During this time, Itassis asks Daggeron if he could teach her the true meaning of courage. Nick gets ready to leave Briarwood to visit his adoptive parents, and is met by Madison, who asks him to come back for her one day, and Nick gives her his blanket that he has kept since he was an infant. The Rock Porium has become a place where the customers range from both humans and magical creatures. Toby re-hires Phineas and makes Xander manager of the store and in an ironic twist of fate, begins a romantic relationship with Necrolai (Nicki) by dating her (ironic since Necrolai attempted to kidnap him in the past). Leelee and her mother have now moved into a condo in Briarwood and Leelee is still dating Phineas. Vida goes back to being the store's technical manager and DJ, now with a new DJ partner, the (somehow) resurrected Matoombo. She also dyed all of her hair pink, when in the beginning, she never even liked the color. Nick, Udonna, and Leanbow then leave Briarwood on their own motorcycles, and it seems that Clare is made the responsible head of Rootcore. She skims through the last pages of the Xenotome and, as she finally casts a successful spell of invisibility, finds this message magically written on the last page of the Xenotome:
