Malborghetto Valbruna is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 100 km northwest of Trieste and about 50 km northeast of Udine, on the border with Austria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,025 and an area of 120.5 km2.[1]
