"Love Don't Cost A Thing" is a single released in 2001 by Jennifer Lopez. It is the first single taken from her 2001 second album, J. Lo. The single peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, besides being her first UK number-one. Its Spanish version, "Amor Se Paga Con Amor" ("Love Is Paid With Love"), released on the Dutch and Spanish editions of her album, only managed to hit the U.S. Latin charts.
The lyrics of the song allude to indiscriminate treatment of the rich and poor, with regard to non-platonic relationships.
