[edit] one gamers

Hello! It is quite simple. You go here and just start typing the article. After you are done, go here List of NHL one gamers and add these [[ ]] around Sundin's name. Next, go to "What links here" on the Ronnie Sundin article on the left and side of the page and make sure everything is linked properly. If you are still having problems, let me know and i will help out further. Masterhatch 00:58, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hockey player infobox

See the full example on Template:Infobox Ice Hockey Player for the abbreviation of the country. The example shows the infobox for Ales Hemsky who is from Czechoslovakia. CS is used as abbreviation for the country. When using the three letter abbreviation CZE would be used. But I've noticed when randomly checking some entries for hockey players that both are used. --claes 17:09, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Vfifgold65.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Vfifgold65.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. [edit] User:Fred Chess/WikiProject Sweden

You said Hi there! How is the Swedish wikiproject doing? If there is anything I can do just drop me line --Krm500 15:26, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I outlined User:Fred Chess/WikiProject Sweden. Added some articles. Should need more additions. Please read section "Project outline" first. If you want, you can add article suggestions to the talk page, and I will perhaps add them to the page.

[edit] Göteborg Opera

Hi! I saw you moved the Göteborg Opera article, and that's fine and all (even if I don't agree). However, its always better to use "move" instead of copy/pasting since that removes the history of edits. Pax:Vobiscum 21:21, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Since Göteborg Opera is the name used by the opera (in english) I think that is the appropriate name. Much like the ballet is called Göteborg Ballet (in english) and the university Göteborg University. Using the actual name just makes more sense to me, even though Gothenburg has a longer history. From the perspective of a tourist it also makes more sense that the town that arranged the "Göteborg European Championships 2006" and houses the "Göteborg Museum of Art" is actually referred to as Göteborg. [edit] Taichung City

I am new on WikiProject Cities. I have added considerable content to the first city I am working on, which happens to be the city of my residence, Taichung City. Would you mind taking a few minutes to look it over and leave comments on how you think I can make it better to bring it up to WikiProject Cities standards in a section of the discussion page for the city’s article page that I have set up.

Thank you. Ludahai 03:59, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Single use templates

Greetings Krm500,

I seen that you started working on Template:Infobox Gothenburg instead of User:Krm500/Sandbox2. I don't know if you were using the new template as a sandbox or not, but you should insert the infobox city template at the beginning of the Gothenburg article and not create a new single use template. We've been trying to delete such templates. What you have done looks pretty good and you should insert it into the article and work on it from there. If you need help with anything let me know. —MJCdetroit 20:40, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Moved from User talk:MJCdetroit for continuity purposes.
The thing is that the numbers in the infobox arn't correct and I havn't been able to edit them yet. When I have the correct stats and figures I will add it to the Gothenburg article. --Krm500 21:03, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Oh, ok. It is a bit confusing. How about using ## or XX as place holders? —MJCdetroit 14:03, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

I seen that you inserted the {{Infobox Gothenburg}} at the beginning of the Gothenburg article. I don't know if you completely understood what I was talking about above so I edited the Gothenburg article and place Infobox Gothenburg up for deletion. Regards, MJCdetroit 18:26, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Ronniesundin.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ronniesundin.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Chowbok 02:30, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Even with the promophoto tag, it's still fair use. We really need a freely-licensed photo instead. Somebody could go to a game and take a picture of him and release it under an appropriate license, or write him or his agent and ask for one. —Chowbok 04:33, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
