KDRF
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
KDRF-FM (103.3 mhz) is a radio station in Albuquerque, NM. It is owned by Citadel Communications and has an Adult Hits format as "Ed FM". KDRF was originally launched at the end of 2004 as "Fred FM" but in March 2005 XM Satellite Radio claimed the name "Fred" to be a trademark of their classic alternative station. The name was then shortened to "Ed" to avoid fighting a costly legal battle. The station has no DJs and has a wide playlist of Top 40 hits from the early '70's to the present.
The 103.3 frequency was previously an Alternative Rock station called "103.3 The Zone" as KTZO-FM from 2001-2004.
