Johan Norberg

Johan Norberg (born 27 August 1973 in Stockholm) is a Swedish writer devoted to promoting globalisation and individual liberty.
Norberg is since 2006 a Senior Fellow with the Brussels-based European think tank Centre for the New Europe.
Norberg is the author of the much celebrated In Defence of Global Capitalism (ISBN 1-930865-47-3). He also presented the British Channel Four documentary Globalisation is Good, which is based on his book.
Among other claims, he writes that the welfare state has reduced our collective happiness because it deprives us of the opportunity to take control and responsibility over our lives.
In 2005 his blog was voted as the best in Sweden by the readers of Internetworld.
