Hello there, welcome to the 'pedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you need pointers on how we title pages visit Wikipedia:Naming conventions or how to format them visit our manual of style. If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Village pump. Cheers! --maveric149
maveric149: Thanks for your kind welcome. I will make sure I read up on the acceptable styles, etc. Emperor
Another pointer: The title word or title phrase in an article should be highlighted at its first appearance, like this. I took care of this in three of your new articles on ficional characters. 128.101.134.133 02:23, 29 Sep 2003 (UTC)
[edit] Lexilink
Just a heads-up: An article you created, Lexilink, has been put up at the VfD page: VfD: Lexilink. If you want to defend your article, it would be advisable to head on over to the VfD page and do so soon. BorgHunter July 5, 2005 22:14 (UTC)
[edit] 2000ad to do
Hi, ta for that, theres some there which i'm working on (Flesh, Brett Ewins)and some i keep meaning to expand but cant quite get round to it (Big Dave, Robin Smith), but i shoul have Flesh done in the next few days.Logan1138 18:42, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

- Cool - I was chatting to someone on a forum who said they'd give the Harlem Heroes a go - which'd be cool ;) I'm going to try and give Bec & Cawl a start and then From Grace and Storming Heaven in an attempt to box off the Frazer Irving entry - I'll ask him for a piccie too (or find someone who took a snap at a comic con - I foolishly forgot) (Emperor 03:18, 4 March 2006 (UTC))
[edit] Black Hawk
Is the Black Hawk situation fine now? It looks ok to me.--Commander Keane 05:52, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- It looks OK but I was unsure why your disambiguation page was removed so I was slightly nervous about putting it back but it was the only way I could get the various entries to work. I've also re-editted various other ones to point to the correct entries as they were all over the place. Seems OK but if there is a problem feel free to get stuck in - I have dropped comments in on the relevant pages in case anyone queries what I did (I'll also drop a couple more links to the disambigutaion page in). (Emperor 16:11, 7 March 2006 (UTC))
[edit] Problems with Harry Kipling
Hi - there is a protocol for escalation of vandalism reports. Please see Wikipedia:Requests for investigation/Help#Guidelines for users. In summary you need to warn the users with test notices, eg {{subst:test1}} through to {{subst:test4}}. You also need to review what the user is trying to do - is it mere vandalism or otherwise - ie assume good faith. I have replaced your comment on the user page, with an escalated test notice. I will continue to watch and if we get to test 4, I will block. Hope this makes sense. Regards--A Y Arktos\talk 19:37, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanantion - I've never had to do complain about someone properly before but was in the process of consulting with others about the best step but thanks for taking the lead on that one (Emperor 19:43, 10 April 2006 (UTC))
- I will watch the user talk page for the test 3 and 4 notices Regards--A Y Arktos\talk 19:48, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Steampunk list - good job
Good job on tackling the very long list of steampunk works. Davodd 01:36, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- Cheers :) To be fair (and to return the compliment) you'd already done all the hardwork - I only dropped in to add a couple of entries and my anally retentive nature couldn't let the unordered list lie. It didn't take long to get it all in order. Its a great list!! (Emperor 02:09, 12 April 2006 (UTC))
[edit] Black ops
What you have referred to sounds like a Black ops project. Seen this on the 'net, and heard this on Coast To coast AM, Jeff Rense's radio show as well. Martial Law 02:51, 19 April 2006 (UTC) :)
- Black ops eh? Cool. I assume we are talking about the Montauk Project entry then? If so its far nuttier than that ;) (Emperor 03:07, 19 April 2006 (UTC))
[edit] Rogue Trooper
Can we do an article for the PS2 game, Nu-Earth, Nordland, Souther Confederacy and various other related articless? - SGCommand
I was impatient so I created articles for Norts, Southers & Nu-Earth --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 19:56, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Krool
I created an article on them and Bad Company (Graphic Novel). See what you can do. --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 12:08, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
And the Rogue Trooper articles. When should we start them, how should we start them? --15:12, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, will start some of them withion the next week or so. --16:34, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Menehune
Hello. I disagree with your addition of the Wikiproject Paranormal tag. This subject may be investigated by those interested in Paranormal topics; this is not a paranormal subject, but one of mythology, folklore, and history, just like the Leprechaun article. —Viriditas | Talk 22:41, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- The paranormal page defines paranormal as "an observed phenomenon for which there is no agreeable rational explanation". Please provide a reliable source showing that Menehune are classified as paranormal phenomena. They aren't. The menehune are classifed as folklore and legend. Your comment on my talk page seems to discuss things other than menehune. Just because you personally believe this is a paranormal subject, doesn't necessarily make it one. —Viriditas | Talk 23:01, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- You've made your beliefs quite clear, but your statement, "They have been observed and there is no agreeable explanation" is not based on any reliable citation. Furthermore, you state, "I don't believe they are just legends or paranormal entities or relict hominoids but they could potentially be any one (or more) of those and until one is available for study (if that is even possible) we are going to have to define things as broadly as possible." That's your personal opinion, and you are welcome to it, but please do not try to impose your opinion on the Wikipedia article. The menehune are a cultural phenomenon, not anomalous, and certainly not "paranormal". There is nothing paranormal about this article; this is the realm of history. —Viriditas | Talk 23:18, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments. I've archived the discussion. Any further discussion should be addressed on related article talk pages. You may wish to notify me on my talk page of any ongoing discussion. I'm not exactly clear what you are getting at in reference to what you call the "paranormal" so at some point I'll stop by your WikiProject page and followup. —Viriditas | Talk 03:08, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Futurequake issue5.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Futurequake issue5.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 18:03, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I now changed the license tag to {{promotional}}, because it's not actually the cover, but the cover artwork, right? I also added {{withpermission}}, because if the editors sent you the image to upload it, they're obviously fine with it being used on Wikipedia. --Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 22:41, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sorry about the articles
I was planning on creating articles for Judge Dredd stories starting with The House of Pain, I read that particular story and got the impression that that particular storyline is not over. --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 13:04, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2000AD Question
I am looking for the name of a particular story - It's about these dinosaurs who after fighting these other dinosaurs are slated to die (by I think Father) but survive. They decide to go after him and the remaining humans. On their first travels, they encounter a group of scientists (later turning out to be clones of the original scientists) --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 18:11, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- The start of their adventure is at the end of a massive fight between other dinosaurs, One of the dinosaurs (a Raptor) is nicknamed "Speedy" due to his speed, also there are few humans left. --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 11:48, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2000 AD Suggestion
I agree that we should createw a Mega City Category, I also believe we should create a List of Perps (Judge Dredd) article linking a number of perps, mutants and gangs in (MORE IDEAS COMING TOMORROW DUE TO OTHER ISSUES) --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 11:48, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
MORE IDEAS: Nikolai Dante: Romanov Dynasty (Nikolai Dante)|Vladimir the Conqueror|Weapons Crest|Jena Makharov|The Kraken (Nikolai Dante) (Could be merged to List of Characters (Nikolai Dante))|Yakuza (Nikolai Dante)|Katarina Dante
The Red Seas: Ma'hars
The Ten Seconders (will create article soon): Hero (The Ten Seconder), List of Characters (The Ten Seconders)
Harry Kipling: Mad Gods (Harry Kipling)
Savage (2000 AD): Volgans
Fiends of the Eastern Front: Hauptmann Costanza

[edit] Cyprus/Artw/etc
Hi - don't know how, but I managed to miss your greeting on my talk page, so please forgive the late reply. Actually, I'm not in Cyprus just yet, but will be moving there (permanently) in August. My wife's Greek Cypriot and it's a great place to relax, as I'll be a kept man for a couple of years after that!
Also, just wanted to say what a pity it is that Arthur decided to go about things in such a cock-eyed fashion. Very obviously, it was an attack on a particular person and publication, done under a cowardly sockpuppet account. Funnily enough, if he'd been honest and started with his own entry, just saying "I nominate this for deletion as I am the subject and I really don't think I'm notable enough yet", he might well have got his way, whereas it looks as though many of the votes are tending towards keep/no consensus!
Hope this whole stupid mess hasn't put you off your excellent work, which I've been following with interest.

[edit] Iron Storm series
Any word on it yet?--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 13:07, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ed Berridge, Matt Timson, Paul Scott, Mike Molcher, etc
Despite the utter knobcheesery of the way in which he went about it, I'm afraid I think Arthur had a point about the small press contributors' biographies. They just don't belong on an encyclopedia - if they do, then both you, I and quite probably my dear departed granny all deserve one. Certainly they utterly fail WP:BIO. Rather than going through the whole process of deleting them, though, would it be OK with you if I turned each of them into a redirect? I'll advise the people concerned and do the necessary, if you agree. Cheers, James. Vizjim 07:12, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New plan of action
I been thinking about our last talk and I was wondering that a Perps (Judge Dredd) article would really be helpful. It would deal with all the major/notable "perps" in the Judge Dredd universe. Also, there are merger tags for Krool and Nu-Earth going around. Will oppose both --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 14:14, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- Will really revamp the Krool article, also perhaps a List of aliens (The V.C.s) or something similar. I could easily expand upon it. --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 14:48, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A couple of things
1. I will be starting up articles for Judge Dredd tales stating with The House of Pain as well as a List of Perps.
2. I need some help updating the Krool article (adding in some info from Book 3) --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 15:57, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
1 (Continued). I am thinking of creating a Judge Dredd storylines category.
3. Do you think the Martians in Scarlet Traces deserve a mention in Martian (War of the Worlds)?
4. Nikolai Dante - I am thinking of moving the characters section further down. Have you got a pic of Dante on his own? --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 18:05, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nikolai Dante again
- See the article itself. I will be adding character descriptions as well (detailed ones), care to help?--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 15:17, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your scans
just a friendly reminder, when scanning copyrighted works, like comics, you must do them in low resoution, otherwise the license tag you applied won't hold and the image may get deleted. I downgraded Image:JLA-100-08.jpg and others. This from the part of {{Comicpanel}} that says
-
- "It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of a single panel from a comic strip or an interior page of an individual comic book..."
Remember that fair use is not a license but a defense that allows the use of an iamge, so in order of we using that defense, the requirements (as images being low res) must be met. -- Drini 23:36, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Some Stuff
Finished Nikolai Dante, Volgans now need pictures (What about Norts, Southers? What do they need?) Will work on The V.C.s--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 16:23, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Response
I am thinking of getting the case files and creating articles dedicated to the stories within. As for recent articles, when do you want me to begin?
- Also added some info to Norts/Southers, any more info would help me complete them. Also, do you know what the Volgans insignia is? --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 14:49, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] My Response
I saw my topic on 2000adOnline and decided to respond. Anyway, if you would like, I could ask permission to use parts of those pics to help with the Norts, Southers & Volgans. --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 15:26, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Email me at emperorskill10@hotmail.com for the pictures that W.R.Logan has let us use. --SGCommand (talk • contribs) 14:37, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- The Nort Insignia was taking up some of the History section, sorry. Also, the only other Volgan Insignia there is on the net is here--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 10:21, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2000AD talk page?
Hi Emperor. Don't suppose you still remember me but I'm Smithy and thanks for the link to the 2000AD talk page. (It seems to be the only thing that I contribute to.) Is there some group you can join or do you join the basic comics? Either way, could I have a link please? J Smithy 22.42, 10 August 2006 (UTC) Never mind. Found my problem.
[edit] Origins
Hi, it's me again. I see that you've started an article for the upcoming Origins. Would you like me to add "The Connection's" plot? Or would you prefer it if it was added when "The Connection" is finished? Smithy 16:55, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] (comic book series) nonsense
I will take care of this tonight. I apologize again; I have been very distracted, and I made a stupid mistake. Thanks for bringing to my attention. --Chris Griswold 22:03, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Suggestions
Sorry dude. Kinda new to 2000AD I'm afraid. It's a shame 'cause we really need those pages started soon. I'll do a search and see if I can find a fansite or something. Smithy 23:26, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I could get Go-Machine started okay (even though I was the one who put it up). I don't have part 1 though if that's a problem? Smithy 11:04, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
The Stone Island cover would be great I think. As for Banzai Battalion, it'd be good to see it started but I've only began reading the latest story so know nothing on the background. Probablly need someone to fill that bit in, otherwise I'll get on it! Smithy 17:29, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sorry to disturb you
After carefully reviewing the Volgans page and "revamping" it, I waswondering if you have some more info on both the "British Invision" and the Volgan War?--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 15:49, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- I was wondering if it was okay to use the cover of Extreme Edition 3 for a better pic of the Volgan insignia and/or the volgans?--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 16:02, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about the stubs, was planning on expanding both articles (couldn't find a complete list of Banzai stories) though Go-Machine could do with a section on the Central Directorate. Also, I don't have Extreme Edition 3, could we still use it for the Volgans entry though?--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 10:06, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- Emailed you Extreme Edition 3, see if you can get the insignia/some Volgans--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 14:37, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Judge Giant
I think the Cliff Robinson cover is definitely the best. Thanks for finding it. I'll have a look at the 2000 AD page and see what I can do. Richard75 18:20, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
I agree. Thanks for volunteering. Richard75 00:32, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] out-Preacher Preacher reference
Sorry to take so long, but I found an interview where Ennis expands on the claim, and it works fine as a link. Stilgar135 23:38, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Judge Dredd
I agree that there should be another category since only a small proportion of articles are about places so far, and it might encourage people to contribute more articles in that area. I think your suggestion of "Judge Dredd locations" would be the most versatile, as it would allow not just cities but also buildings like the Academy, and places like the Cursed Earth and so on. Richard75 17:55, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
I agree, in fact I might merge Dead Man with Tale of the Dead Man, as now that you mention it there seems little point in having all these stories seperate. I'll get round to it soon. A Judge Dredd storylines category is a good idea. Richard75 21:40, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
I just checked out your sandbox articles and I think you should go ahead and do them for real. I didn't quite follow the entry about the Judge Dredd / Friday crossover though, and maybe that sentence could be reworded slightly. Richard75 16:41, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
I don't think Judge Logan is important enough to deserve an article all to himslef, but if there was an article about cameos or minor characters in general then Logan could be included in that (unless and until his role in Origins fleshes out his character enough for his own article). Was Logan in Class of 79? Cal's original appearance was based on Pat Mills, until Mills found out and forced the artists to change it. Richard75 16:46, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
An infobox would be a good idea. Whichever design you think looks best. Richard75 19:12, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- OK, that looks great. Let me know when it's filled out enough and I'll start adding it to articles. Richard75 20:13, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Comic books -> comic move
I noticed on the Action (comic) and Crisis (comic) talk pages that you'd dropped a note in about cancelling the move. It does need doing - the guy who made the mistaken initial moves has been trying to correct them and run into problems fixing those two back to the original place (see discussion here). I have largely left him to tidy up the last loose ends so it might be worth dropping him a note explaining the format of a successful move request. (Emperor 15:55, 11 September 2006 (UTC))
- The instructions for requesting a move are located at Wikipedia:Requested_moves#Steps_for_requesting_a_page_move. Please pass that on to the correct party (I was unsure whether that was indeed ChrisGriswold, as I see your discussion on his talk page has been abandoned for two weeks). -- tariqabjotu 21:43, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2000 AD Universe and Glossary
These are great. I added a couple of things to the Universe page (eg. Dredd/Lobo crossover; Durham Red old and new versions; link to Aliens from "Incubus"). Not sure what else needs adding, it looks pretty complete. Good work. Richard75 23:34, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
I've added my 2p-worth. Good luck.Richard75 23:49, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikiproject Paranormal Collaboration
Hi, I'm leaving you this message because I noticed you are interested in Wikipedia:Wikiproject Paranormal. We're currently starting a new project which we need the help of our members in, the WikiProject Paranormal Collaboration of the Month. This is an initiative where we can identify articles that need work (especially high-traffic pages), and get the whole project involved with their improvement. Currently, we are in the process of voting for our first collaboration. We'd appreciate it if you'd stop by, vote, and add any articles you may think may be appropriate for the project. Also, you may wish to add the Collaboration page to your watchlist to observe future collaborations. If you'd like, we've also created a category to collect articles covered by our project as a reference, if it helps. So, thank you for your interest, and happy editing! --InShaneee 15:59, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2000 AD AFD
Is there an article on crossovers in 2000 AD? I don't think you'd find any resistance to an article similar to what you have but reworked from the crossover angle. The timeline could even be introduced there (in a cut down form) as it would simply be a reference and not an argument for the existence of a "universe". Cheers, Yomanganitalk 01:32, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- Seconded, by the way. Vizjim 08:01, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
The vote was keep. However I have moved the page to 2000 AD crossovers becuase there did seem to be a consensus to do that, and that influenced some people to change their votes from delete to keep. Richard75 16:18, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The V.C.s

[edit] GCP
I visited your home page earlier and found your anecdote on the subject, and then as a joke I created a short page on wikipedia with a link to your userpage. Somebody thought it was vandalism (understandably with hindsight) and summarily deleted it (leaving an explanation on my talk page). Richard75 00:36, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2000AD Timeline
Hi. I've added my comments on the article, i've voted to keep. Thanks for dropping me a message, i'm not on as often as i used to be (got a bit pissed off with a few things here) but i'm still popping on to do the odd edit or two. Feel free to keep in touch.Logan1138 15:05, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A couple of questions
1. Should Torquemada (Nemesis the Warlock) deserve his own article?
2. What picture should we use for Go-Machine?
[edit] Satanus
Satanus definately deserves an article. I agree that Dinosaurs in 2000 AD would perhaps be a better article because then it could deal with his relatives Old One Eye and Golgotha as well as all the other series, ie. the other Flesh books, Dinosty, XTINCT, any others I've missed. It would also be easier for readers who are interested in the subject to find them all in one place instead of a whole caregory of different pages. Richard75 18:11, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of minor characters in Judge Dredd
Thanks for starting the Dinosaurs article. I have linked to it from a couple of other pages. Also I have started a List of minor characters in Judge Dredd page which I'm sure would benefit from your attention. Richard75 14:39, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for that. Do you think there should be links to the redirect pages to encourage people to expand some articles? Eg Walter the Wobot possibly could be expanded enough to give him his own article. Richard75 17:03, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- I think that if there is enough to write about any character to justify them having their own article, i.e. more than a stub, then they should have their own article. Anyone who can't be expanded to more than stub size belongs on the list. Richard75 19:09, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of weapons in Judge Dredd
Maybe List of equipment in Judge Dredd would be even broader because it could contain the Biride lie detector, the psionic amplifier, dimension jumps, etc as well as vehicles and weapons.Richard75 17:03, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
I agree, that's the best solution. Richard75 17:30, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've started the List of technology in Judge Dredd page. Please add to it anything else you can think of. Richard75 20:10, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User:SGCommand/Torquemada (comics)
I had to copy out the bio from the website in the article (with some slight rewording. Also the picture, I don't know who drew it? (it would appear that the website I took it from had it without permission)--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 19:11, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nort/Southers, also Judge Dredd
1. For the Norts and Southers, Should I add in info for the Tor Cyan and "Hit" series?
2. Anymore Dredd characters you want me to create?

Just an FYI, our template has changed to {{Film}} ({{FilmsWikiProject}} just redirects)... it's probably easier for you to edit the {{Film}} because it's shorter. Cbrown1023 00:16, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hotdog run
I suspect whoever wrote it thought that a hotdog run meant any Cursed Earth mission, not just a training mission. Richard75 20:44, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
I started "Death of a Legend." There was that Judge Death story in the Megazine a year or so back, when Las Vegas was destroyed, itself a sequel or homage to "The Cursed Earth." Richard75 21:11, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] John Burns
Hi Emperor, well done disambiguating John Burns and creating the overdue John Burns (disambiguation) page. As you'll probably have seen on your watchlist, I have edited the page quite severely, to unbold the article names, unpipe all links, and remove links to everything except article names.
I thought I'd write to you, because the first time someone did that to a dab page I had created, I felt rather annoyed … so I thought it might help to explain why I did that.
This is the style for disambiguation pages set out in WP:MOSDAB, which is part of the [Wikipedia:Manual of Style|Manual of Style]]. There are several ways in that format helps, and I won't rehearse all that guide here, because it's one of the clearer parts of the MoS, but there is a further point which WP:MOSDAB doesn't mention, viz. that having links only to the article names makes it much much easier to use the dab page for semiautomated disambiguation with WP:POPUPS. If you aren't using popups, I'd recommend them – they are brilliant.
Hope this helps! Best wishes --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 14:41, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

2000AD might be better, because there is so much material: Nikolai Dante, Nemesis etc.Richard75 16:59, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Judge Dredd2
Have you got any ideas (pics) for any of these characters: Judge DeMarco, Judge Karyn, Mechanismo, PJ Maybe, Otto Sump, Walter the Wobot, Nero Narcos, Stan Lee (Judge Dredd character), Jacob Sardini,Judge Guthrie, Oola Blint, Armon Gill, Judge Castillo
- Also should the Doomsday Dog (red link on Father Earth entry) deserve an article?--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 19:22, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- On a possibly unrelated subject, I have finished off the entries for the following: Torquemada (comics), PJ Maybe, Armon Gill, Oola Blint and Jacob Sardini. There isn't anything more we could add to those entries or any of the others (possible exceptions are Walter the Wobot and Otto Sump)--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 20:01, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- Oola Blint and Jacob Sardini: Thats all there is really. What's there to add to the Torquemada article and I will do it?--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 20:32, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- After a small delay, I have returned with some very brief news. Oola Blint entry fleshed out (2000AD Review has a picture of her, should I ask if we could use it?), Jacob Sardini entry is a bit fleshed out (needs some info on his spin-off series really), Sov Judge Orlok is fleshed out (info on his "adventures" with Judge Anderson would be quite nice). Also, whot does Torquemada (comics) need doing?--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 13:46, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- I never said any of them were finished:
- Torquemada (comics): As far as I am concerned, thats finished
- Oola Blint: 2000AD Review has a picture of her, should I ask if we could use it?
- Jacob Sardini: Needs info about his spinoff
- Sov Judge Orlok: Needs info about his run-ins with Anderson
- I have created a Satanus entry and either tomorrow or thursday, I may start the Doomsday Dogs entry fully--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 19:43, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- And all I said (since the last few messages) was I have done all I can for Torquemada (comics) and PJ Maybe. Jacob Sardini, Oola Blint and Sov Judge Orlok needs fleshing out some more AND I have already created a page for Satanus and the Doomsday Dogs.--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 20:18, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AvP
It's written that way to save time and space. I don't see how that is what it's "officially" known as simply because it appears on the DarkHorse website. The site itself is inconsistent with several names. The fact of the matter is that it's written "versus" on the covers. We should aim for accuracy. Mgiganteus1 18:33, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- I see it the other way. What's written on the covers is what the comics are actually called. Just as the name on the covers may be a graphic design decision, the naming in the database is likely based on legibility as well as time and space concerns. Mgiganteus1 19:48, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pictures
They are all good pictures. I've left individual comments on the respective talk pages, but you can't go wrong really.Richard75 18:53, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
I think the map from the comic is best, because 1) it's from an actual story, 2) the speech bubble provides further info for anyone who wants to read it, 3) as you say it has the old and new boundaries.Richard75 19:36, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thanks for fleshing out Nikolai Dante. I was wondering if you wouldn't help me do character descriptions over at Sinister Dexter please.--SGCommand (talk • contribs) 14:37, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
