Ólafsfjörður is a town in the northwest of Iceland located at the mouth of the fjord Eyjafjörður.
The town is connected to the city of Akureyri via a 3.5 km one-lane tunnel. Fishing is the main industry in the town and several trawlers make their home in the town's harbor. Tourism is also an important industry, and there is a natural history museum in the town with a large taxidermy collection.
