Sioux Falls (pronounced "soo falls") is the largest city in the U.S. state of South Dakota. As of the 2000 census, it had a population of 123,975. Sioux Falls is the county seat of Minnehaha County.It is in the eastern part of the state.
The city was incorporated in 1876.
