English: This image shows an about 1.5" (4 cm) large Smooth Newt larva just below the water surface.
Deutsch: Dieses Bild zeigt eine etwa 4 cm große Teichmolch-Larve knapp unter der Wasseroberfläche eines Gartenteiches, welche circa vier Wochen nach dem abgebildeten Stadium den Teich verlassen kann. Danke an Fice für die Bestimmung dieses Tieres.
Zusätzliche Anmerkung von Fice: Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um eine Teichmolch-Larve. Untypisch ist allerdings die stark dunkle Pigmentierung, die eher an eine Bergmolch-Larve erinnert. Dagegen spricht aber der sich offenbar gleichmäßig verjüngende (spitz zulaufende) Schwanz, der sich bei Larven des Bergmolches stumpf zuspitzt.
