Courbe de solidification, isobare, refroidissement passif.
La courbe est obtenue de la manière suivante : on chauffe un produit jusqu'à ce qu'il fonde, et on le laisse se refroidir passivement. On enregistre la température en fonction du temps. On note que la température reste constante pendant la solidification, ce qui indique que la chaleur libérée par la solidification compense la perte de chaleur du système.
Pour des raisons de simplification, nous avons omis le retard à la solidification (surfusion).
Temperature curve during solidification, passive cooling
The product is heated until it melts, then it is let under for a passive cooling. The temperature is recorded vs. time. We can note that the temperature is constant during the solidification: the ordering of atoms produces heat that compensate the loss by cooling.
For simplicity reason, we omited (supercooling)
