User:You? Me? Us?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello there. My name is Scott Smith. In case you're wondering, my user name, You? Me? Us?, is taken from the title of a Richard Thompson album.
I was born in Sylacauga , Alabama in 1962, and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to attend Belmont University (then simply Belmont College) in 1980. Since 1993 I have worked for WPLN - Nashville Public Radio where I am currently operations & production manager. My highest-profile duties include hosting and producing a summer series of concert broadcasts by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, and production work on the nationally-distributed weekly program "Bluegrass Breakdown" (Google us; you can stream the show).
In February 2006, someone posted a message on singer Adrienne Young's website pointing out that she needed a Wikipedia entry. So I came here and created one for her. Considering it was my first Wikipedia effort, I think it turned out rather well and only some minor adjustments had to be made to bring it in line. Now that I have a better idea of how things work, I hope to contribute more.
And since there are much better ways for me to contribute than writing about myself, that's it for this page for now.
