[edit] Plot
Recently, Carey has a new boyfriend. Zack is okay with Carey marrying Harvey because he is rich but Cody opposes the marriage because he liked the way the Martins were living right now in the Tipton Hotel, but Mr. Moseby agrees with Zack because he wants the twins out of the hotel as soon as possible and even dances in the lobby to express his joy when he heard that Carey was dating, and was later joined with Zack when Zack learns that Harvey was proposing to Carey that night! Cody thinks this is a disaster and calls his dad to the Tipton (who took a plane, two buses, and a roller coaster because he thought it was an emergency), but Kurt also ends up liking Harvey because he hooked up Kurt to get a record deal to a huge music company. Cody thinks it's up to him now to stop the engagement, so travels through the air vents to the hotel restaurant to hook up the engagement ring with a fishing pole, but was caught by his dad because he left a diagram of his plan at the hotel room. After a good heart-to-heart talk, Cody now accepts Carey and Harvey's marriage, and told his dad to leave the vents now because it stank, and Kurt apologizes for that (a gag that used to run in Grounded on the 23rd Floor). Mr. Moseby comes into the restaurant and showed a demonstration to Harvey about proposing to Carey (Carey wasn't there at the time) and got the ring stuck to his finger! The episode ends when Carey says that she's not ready for marriage and upsets the hopeful Zack and Mr. Moseby (who still has the ring stuck to his finger).
In the subplot of the episode, Maddie's school is having a volleyball competition, and the game so far isn't much of a success. Then London comes in and falls in love with Joe, a guy who works there (who was almost run over by London's limo some time ago). Desperate, the team calls London to be in the team who remains her spoiled self until a rival team member mocks her. Angry, London uses vicious moves that rally the team -- losing by a landslide only moments before -- to victory. But at another game, Joe gives her a love letter and London was so lovestruck that she didn't even bother to look at the ball. The next day the school team tries to get London angry enough to win this game. Maddie gets an idea that if she kisses Joe, London's jealousy would turn into anger, so that they can win the game. Maddie worked with the plan, and London did get angry and the team won, but London wasn't happy after Maddie reveals her whole plot to use London. But at the end credits, London finds Maddie sleeping in the bleachers of the gym, who was waiting for London to change (which obviously took a lot of time) so she can apologize to her and the two become friends again.
[edit] Trivia

[edit] Goofs
- In the end credits, when London and Maddie are leaving the gym, Maddie forgets her things on the bleachers.
- When Maddie kisses Joe, it looks like she isn't actually kissing him.
- Moseby as hotel general manager makes a mistake when he tells Maddie, "That's no way to talk to a customer". In the hospitality industry they are referred to as "guests" not "customers".

[edit] Quotes
- Zack: (To Carey and Harvey) Carey Marie Martin- Do you know what time it is?
Cody: We agreed you'd be home by 11!
Harvey: (to Carey) Boy, your parents are strict.
Carey: Yeah, well, I believe we also agreed that you'd be in bed by 10.
Cody: Who could sleep with the worrying?
Harvey: My bad, guys. Sorry.
Cody: Just make sure that it doesn't happen again.
Zack: We're watching you.
Carey: (to Harvey) So am I.
Zack: Okay, gross.
- Maddie: This is Harvey. He's dating Carey.
Mr. Moseby: Splendid! Oh, Harvey, do I hear wedding bells in the horizon?
Harvey: Well, actually...
Mr. Moseby: Oh, how I will miss those little tykes. You are planning on taking them away, because I can't miss them if they're still here!
Harvey: Let's not jump to conclusions.
Mr. Moseby: Why not? Jumping is fun! (starts jumping up and down) Yes, jump with me, Harvey. Jump!
Harvey: I would, but I don't want to look foolish.
Mr. Moseby: (stops jumping) Of course not.
(Harvey leaves)
Mr. Moseby: Oh, I think I frightened him.
Maddie: Actually sir, you frightened us all.
Mr. Moseby: Good.
- Cody: I dont want things to change- just me, mom, and Zack...

- Mr. Moseby: You're not marrying the bread stick! You're marrying Carey! You just slip it on your finger like this (Moseby slips the ring on his finger) and... Ooo- how nice. Now let me... (Tries taking it off) yeh-oh...
Harvey: What do you mean (copies Moseby) "yeh-oh"?!
- Harvey: Carey, there's something I'd like to give you...(holds out Moseby's finger)
Carey: You wanna give me Mr. Moseby?
- Carey: Aw, honey, you know that I would never marry anyone wihtout you and Zack's permission.
Moseby: (Sobs loudly)
Carey: Or Mr. Moseby...

Sister Rose: Not if you hit it over the ne-et.
- Sister Roe: (team is losing big) London get in the game.
Maddie: Are you sure that's such a good idea?

- Girl on Opposing Team: So you're London Tipton?
London: Yes, no photographs please.
Girl on Opposing Team: It's OK. I just wanted to meet...the dumbest heiress in Boston.
London: Excuse me.
Girl on Opposing Team: (slowly and sarcastically) Was I talking too fast?
(Later an angry London power slams the ball in the girl's face)
London: (slowly and sarcastically) Did I hit it too hard?
- London: It says "London want to have dinner later? OX! OX! OX!"
Maddie: Actually those are "O"'s and "X"'s. (As London looks confused) Hugs and Kisses.
