Unsuri

Abul Qasim Hasan Unsuri (d. 1039/1040) was a 10-11th century poet of Persia.
He is said to have been born in Balkh, and he eventually became a poet of the royal court, and was given the title 'King of Poets'.
His Divan is said to have contained 30,000 distichs, of which 2500 only remain today.
