Tyndale University College and Seminary

Tyndale University College & Seminary is an evangelical Christian and transdenominational post-secondary educational institution located in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
Tyndale University College was founded as the Toronto Bible Training School in 1894, soon after changing its name to Toronto Bible College. It became Ontario Bible College in 1968, with the merger with the London College of Bible and Missions, that had been located in London, Ontario since 1935 when it was founded under its original name, London Bible Institute.
Tyndale Seminary, was founded as Ontario Theological Seminary in 1976, when OBC moved from its longtime home at 16 Spadina Road in The Annex area near the upper downtown area, to 25 Ballyconnor Court in the Bayview and Steeles area of the former North York, and is now Canada’s largest theological seminary.
The names were changed from Ontario to Tyndale in 1998, following a period of internal restructuring, and is named after William Tyndale, an English Reformation theologian of the sixteenth century.
In 2003, Tyndale College was designated "privately funded institution with degree-granting authority". Tyndale University College & Seminary is fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada to award undergraduate and graduate degrees. The current president is Rev. Dr. Brian C. Stiller.
In June 2006, a press release announced the acquisition of a neighbouring complex, St. Joseph's Morrow Park, from the Sisters of St. Joseph. Like their predecessors at 25 Ballyconnor of Regis College, SJMP has also decided to move into the city.
