Tildenville is a census-designated place (CDP) and an unincorporated area in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 513 at the 2000 census.

(28.539309, -81.600432)According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it (14.63%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 513 people, 169 households, and 129 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 565.9/km² (1,465.7/mi²). There were 180 housing units at an average density of 198.6/km² (514.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 13.84% White, 80.51% African American, 3.51% from other races, and 2.14% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.89% of the population.
There were 169 households out of which 34.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.4% were married couples living together, 30.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.1% were non-families. 17.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.04 and the average family size was 3.42.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 32.4% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 30.8% from 25 to 44, 23.0% from 45 to 64, and 5.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 95.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.8 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $36,250, and the median income for a family was $38,438. Males had a median income of $26,500 versus $20,893 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $11,488. About 10.5% of families and 11.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 8.2% of those under age 18 and none of those age 65 or over.
