Tiger Balm Garden (Hong Kong)

Tiger Balm Garden ( also called Aw Boon Haw Garden) is located at 15, Tai Hang Road, Tai Hang, Wan Chai District, Hong Kong.
A 7-storey White Pagoda was the highlight of the Garden. Other tourist attractions are the artificial Chinese landscaping docated with sculptures.

It was built at a cost of HK$16 million by Aw Boon Haw and his family in 1935[1]. It was opened to public in early 1950s; so it was considered as one of the first theme parks in Hong Kong.
Most part of the Garden has been sold and redeveploed to be residential area. In 1998, the ownership inheritor, Aw Sian sold the whole Garden complex to a land development company, Cheung Kong. Hong Kong Government reached an agreement with the company to preserve the Haw Par Mansion when the Garden complex is redeveloped.[2]

3-storey Haw Par Mansion was the former Aw Family's residence in Hong Kong. It was built in the "Chinese Renaissance" style. There are more 500 relics in the Mension; they underwent restoration and repair. [3]
