[edit] Plot summary
Kat Ellis (played by Debra Messing) is a single New Yorker who is invited back to her parents' house in London to attend her younger sister's (Amy Adams) wedding. She is surprised to discover that the best man is none other than her former fiancé, who dumped her without warning two years ago.
Anxious about confronting him, she hires male escort Nick Mercer (played by Dermot Mulroney) to pose as her boyfriend. She intends to make her former boyfriend, Jeffrey (played by Jeremy Sheffield) jealous, but her plan backfires when Nick convinces everyone, including her, that they're madly in love.
Amy confesses to her fiancé Ed just before the wedding that she slept with Jeffrey. Ed chases him out of the church. Kat ends up with Nick.
Tagline: Love doesn't come cheap.
