The Privileged Planet: How Our Place in the Cosmos is Designed for Discovery is a book by Guillermo Gonzalez and Jay Richards which attempts to use scientific evidence to show that the Earth isn't a result of natural processes, and that it was optimized for life and learning. Guillermo Gonzalez and Jay Richards claim that the Earth is optimum for seeing and understanding the universe. They also postulate that the laws of physics and mathematics were made easy to understand for humans.
