[edit] Setting
Early hints appear to put the plot as revolving around Third Earth, but no setting has yet been confirmed.
On The Guide to the Territories of Halla's last page, the Territories are listed in "order". So far the books have corresponded to this "order", and, taken as fact, Ibara is the supposed setting of "The Pilgrims of Rayne".
On thependragonadventure.com, it was stated that "DJ has [allegedly] said that the book will not take place on only one territory, but multiple ones"[1]
Because "The Pilgrims of Rayne" will allegedly take place on multiple territories, the most likely territories that the book will take place on are, 3rd Earth, 2nd Earth, and Ibara. All others have passed their turning-points.
[edit] Characters
The only confirmed characters as of now are:
- Robert "Bobby" Pendragon - Main character and lead traveler, from Second Earth.
- Courtney Chetwynde - A girl who used to be Bobby's paramour and his rival in sport; Is sometimes the acolyte.
- Mark Dimond - Bobby's best friend. The acolyte of Second Earth. He was also the first person to receive Bobby's letters.
- Saint Dane - Shapeshifting demon, acts as the antagonist in the series.
- Nevva Winter - The Traveler from Quillan. First Traveler to turn evil, with good intentions.
[edit] Plot
The plot is varied to change but so far fans of the books believe that it will have something to do with "The Convergence" which Saint Dane mentioned in The Quillan Games. Since Second Earth has changed, Bobby and Courtney left to Third Earth to figure out where Mark went and what has happened.
