The Gaiety School of Acting

The Gaiety School of Acting is probably Ireland's best known drama school. It is located on Sycamore Street in Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
The school was founded in 1986 by actor and director Joe Dowling, who currently serves as the chairman of the school.
In addition to the two year full-time course the GSA runs part-time and youth courses in locations all around Ireland.
Prominent Irish actors who attended the school include Colin Farrell and Stuart Townsend.
