[edit] History
A local Greek Fraternity established on February 26, 1986 at New York Institute of Technology's Central Islip Campus. Tau Sigma Chi was founded by seven young men: Bryan Kaplan, Joseph Mulligan, Mario Canteros, Joseph Gueriello, William Rodowski, John Pluchino and a seventh, who shall not be mentioned. Unlike other Greek Organizations, Tau Sigma Chi does not collect dues for membership.
[edit] Positions
Legionous Librarious to most Greek organizations this would be known as a Pledgemaster. This position is responsible for the well being and education of pledges.
Adeptus Justicar is commonly known as the president to some people. Although there is no official president of the fraternity this member serves as a head figure to the public. The Adeptus Justicar is only voted upon when his successor steps down from that position by a majority vote.
Brewmaster is the most well known position. It's job intails retrieving any alcoholic beverage for a brother. This position is given for life and is never taken away. The position of Brewmaster is also given to one person from each pledge class for his dedication and hard work as a pledge. Another responsibility of the Brewmaster is to be able to tell the pledges when and when they cannot drink.
Historian is a position usually given to the oldest active brother due to his length in active status. Usually the Historian is in college for at least five or six years (Usually are Architect students, not just the alcoholics that like to stick around). Responsibilities include holding onto fraternity relics, paddles, banners and any other fraternity belongings.
