For sure: Based on WP:FICT she should be merged with either List of New Order Jedi characters or The New Jedi Order. The spelling of her name also needs to be consistant. We have both Tahiri Veila and Tahiri Velia. -Dr Haggis - Talk 06:46, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Her own article on the Wookieepedia, not the Wikipedia. I love Star Wars more than the next guy, but this bloat of minor characters and events from the expanded universe is unnecessary. Merging her information with the main article will make for a better article. There is alot of info on her. I agree that there is a bloat of minor characters, take Allana for one. But Tahiri is not a minor character she is in fact a major character. She has had an entire book dedicated to her. She is like a second daughter to Leia and Han. There is a lot of info. missing about her, like the Dark Nest trilogy events. Disagree Tahiri is vital to the series. She plays a major part in not only in the New Jedi Order Series, but the Junior Jedi Knight Series as well. There're a lot of information her—information that should surpass one of a minor character. The Final Prophecy is a book that is all about her—that's one of the many things that show she is NOT a minor character. —Mirlen 18:09, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Agree; Personally, since I've become a WP:FICT officer, I feel that all characters like this should be merged. Alas, that won't be accomplished in a long time. Also, why do a lot of Star Wars articles have leadoff quotes? Is that encyclopedia style? Quotes should either be placed in their own section or decamp to Wikiquote. Her page can and will be expanded, if length is what is the problem. If the article could NOT be expanded further, then I would agree that it should be merged. But her page can. Wookiepedia clearly shows that length and content is clearly not the problem, and because there're a lot of things to write about her, she is not a minor character with little information, like Allana or Ben Skywalker. It's just that Wikipedia's version isn't as quite expanded to the potential it clearly can be. She shouldn't count as a minor character, because she's not just a little minor character—she's more than that. She's definately a main character in Conquest, Rebirth, The Final Prophecy, and the Force Heretic series (3 books). That's a lot of books for a minor character to star or at least appear majorly in. Also, don't forget the JJK books as well. And the plot in each of those books do concern her largely. —Mirlen 00:22, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

As for the leadoff quotes, I added them on Tahiri's and the Solo kids' pages because I first saw the leadoff quotes on Ulic's page, as well as on Padme's and Leia's and several other pages. Yes, wikiquote can give quotes, but a leadoff quote (one doesn't hurt, does it?), in my opinion, not only looks better but it gives the article more depth and subtext content—I'm not sure how to explain this, but it adds a nice touch to it. —Mirlen 00:22, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Do as you do for the lead quotes. I saw them on other pages, so I thought it was alright, since nobody was removing them from the articles. If not, I'll remove them as so ordered by Wikipedia :). —Mirlen 00:38, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Expanding

I feel like we should expand her Childhood/Yavin IV section. There're a lot of things that happened during the Junior Jedi Knight series. Jacen and Jaina have their own long childhood section splitting into the different books of the YJK series, why not do the same with Tahiri (and Anakin) as well? Never mind.
